We know the way to God’s house – written on April 29th, 2024. Manzini, Eswatini.
– On the way to church this past Sunday we got lost on the bush trail….-
John 14:1-6 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
While walking to church this morning we took a shortcut through the bush instead of taking the road. However we got confused because there was so many trails, we didn’t know which way to go.
I began joking as we got lost saying “Come on guys, we know the way to God’s House.” (John 14) and we all laughed and prayed and asked Jesus to guide us there. Soon after we found the way and made it to church early! The Holy Spirit guided us to the Father’s house in Jesus name! He is the way the truth and the life!
We got to meet the elders and pastors and seek the Lord with this amazing Church family, Christ Revealed International Ministries.
We sang, we danced, we prayed, we worshipped, we testified!
I was also invited to preach to the body and encourage them with Luke 11! After the service Rebekah, Tanner, and myself got to pray for people who responded to the Spirit’s message!

I just love it when God helps us in the “little things” – like helping us find the right path. Often it’s those things that really stick with me. I’m amazed that God cares about those details and is ready to help us in all circumstances!
What a blessing that you got there early and made connections that would not have happened had you arrived later!
